Heads up: we're Ryz Labs, so we have skin in this game. This is the case we make to buyers on calls. Facts about Globant come from its own sites, filings and public listings, linked at the end.
Globant does not publish prices. For its AI Pods, sold through its Glob.AI platform, it publishes the billing structure: "a monthly Minimum Usage Fee covers token consumption up to that amount; beyond it a usage-based Variable Fee accrues." It says it doesn't charge by seats or billable hours. The fee amounts are not published. For traditional project work, Clutch lists Globant at $25-$49/hr with a $5,000+ minimum project, which are directory figures, not a Globant price list.
For most US teams that want a named senior team building in their own stack, Ryz Labs is the better value. Our rates are public, $7,000 to $15,000 per engineer per month, and before you sign you get a scoped plan, a price and the names of the people who would do the work.
Globant sells in two broad ways, and they're priced on different logic.
What's not published: the minimum fee amount, the token threshold, the variable rate, contract length and any trial. Dollar figures for AI Pods circulate in press coverage, but Globant hasn't confirmed any of them, so we don't repeat them here.
Token consumption. On AI Pods, your bill tracks how much agent work runs. Ask how tokens map to deliverables (a feature, a test suite, a migrated module) so you can forecast a month.
Where the threshold sits. The Minimum Usage Fee is a floor. If your usage swings, you pay the floor in quiet months and the Variable Fee in busy ones. Ask for both numbers in writing.
Pod model. Software, Ops and Catalyst pods do different jobs, and a supervised runtime operation is a different commitment from a self-service tool.
Human supervision. Globant experts supervise the agents. Ask how much senior human time each pod includes, and who those people are.
Program size. Globant had about 27,400 employees at March 31, 2026 and reports 331 customers above $1M in annual revenue. Large multi-studio programs are scoped and priced as programs.
A practical tip: give every vendor the same brief, then compare the cost of the outcome, not the unit. Tokens, hours and engineer-months only become comparable once you tie them to the same deliverable.
We price people, not tokens. Typical cost is $7,000 to $15,000 per engineer per month: mid-level (comparable to Amazon L5) $7,000 to $10,000, senior (comparable to Amazon L6) $10,000 to $15,000, and leads $15,000+ quoted per team. An AI pod is priced the same way: team size × duration × monthly rate. A five-person senior pod for four months is 5 × $10,000 to $15,000 × 4, or $200,000 to $300,000. You can run your own scenario in our AI development cost calculator.
What the price buys: top 1% senior engineers, chosen from tens of thousands we've interviewed, who work on your team on US business hours. A typical AI pod is about 7 senior engineers, including a tech lead, an ML engineer and backend engineers, building in your cloud and repos (AWS, Azure, GitHub, Postgres, Anthropic and OpenAI models) with weekly demos. When the system is done, you can grow the pod or take the whole system over. Our pods built fraud detection for a global fleet company with $5.94M in fraud confirmed by the client's own team. See our case studies.
If you want a large, NYSE-listed vendor with global scale and a productized way to buy AI work through a catalog, Globant's model is built for that, and its token-metered billing suits teams that want to pay for agent output rather than headcount.
If you want a named senior team that builds one system to your spec, in your repos, on your hours, Ryz is the better value. You know who's on the team and what it costs per month before you sign, and the code and knowledge stay with you. Our Ryz Labs vs Globant page has the full comparison, Globant alternatives lists other options, and AI pod providers covers the category.
Not published. Globant says each subscription has a monthly Minimum Usage Fee covering tokens up to a threshold, plus a Variable Fee above it, but it doesn't publish the amounts. Ask for both in writing.
Globant doesn't publish one. Clutch lists a $25-$49/hr band and a $5,000+ minimum project, but that's a directory range, not a quote.
None of the three publishes prices. Compare written quotes for the same deliverable. See EPAM vs Globant, BairesDev vs Globant and EPAM pricing.
No. We price the senior engineers on the pod, per month, and model usage runs in your own cloud accounts. Talk to us for a scoped plan with named engineers.
Last checked October 2026. Pricing, trials and services move fast in this market, so verify the details with each vendor.
