Disclosure: we're Ryz Labs, and we're one of the alternatives below. We'll make our case, and we'll also tell you when Proxify or another network is the smarter buy. Facts about each company come from its own site or public listings, linked at the end.
Proxify is a Stockholm-headquartered talent network founded in 2018. It says it connects 6,000+ vetted professionals in more than 90 countries, accepts about 1% of 20,000+ monthly applicants, and presents candidates in 2 days on average. It publishes a price: $5,600 to $8,800 a month for one senior developer at 40 hours a week. For European companies that's a strong offer. US buyers tend to look for Proxify alternatives for structural reasons: with talent in 90+ countries, overlap with a New York workday depends on which developer you get; the model fills one role at a time; and some teams need an AI system built, not one more AI hire. For that, our pick is Ryz Labs.
Fortune 500 engineering teams trust us for one thing above all: senior engineers who work as part of their team. Only the top 1% of the tens of thousands of engineers we've interviewed make it. All of them are in Latin America and work US business hours, including New York hours, so your 10 a.m. standup, your afternoon design review and your same-day code review include them. That's the core difference from a 90-country network: overlap is a property of the team, not the luck of the match. If you're hiring from New York, our guide to nearshore developers for New York companies goes deeper.
When the job is building AI rather than filling a seat, we send an AI pod team: typically about seven senior engineers, including a tech lead, an ML engineer and backend engineers, working in your cloud, your GitHub and your CI with Anthropic and OpenAI models, and showing working software every week. Pods have shipped fraud detection for a global fleet company that has scored 244K+ invoices in under 30 seconds each, and an AI voice platform that has made 1M+ outbound calls. See our case studies and the vetting process behind every engineer.
We cost more than Proxify's published band, and we're open about it. Mid-level engineers (comparable to Amazon L5 / SDE II) are $7,000 to $10,000 a month, seniors (comparable to Amazon L6) $10,000 to $15,000, and leads are quoted per team. Two seniors for six months is 2 × $10,000 to $15,000 × 6, or $120,000 to $180,000. You get a plan, a price and the names of the people before you start. What you're paying for is top 1% seniority, guaranteed US-hours overlap and the option of a whole pod. For the side-by-side, see Ryz Labs vs Proxify.
Where we're not the right fit: your team works European hours, you want follow-the-sun coverage across Europe and Asia, or you want a self-serve marketplace with hourly short gigs. Proxify or one of the networks below fits better.
Toptal was founded in 2010 and says it became the world's largest fully remote company in 2020. It says its talent spans over 100 countries, mostly in the Americas and Europe, that the average time to match is under 24 hours, and that you can hire in under 48 hours. It offers a no-risk trial of up to two weeks. Beyond developers it covers designers, finance experts and product managers, which helps if your gap isn't only engineering. Clutch lists a $100 to $149/hr band. See our Toptal alternatives.
Arc, the sister brand of Codementor, launched in 2019 and says it has 450,000 talent in 190 countries, with most developers in the US, Europe and Latin America. Like Proxify, it publishes prices: freelance rates of $15 to $110+ an hour (its FAQ says most charge $60 to $100+), and a 20% placement fee for permanent hires, with $0 owed until you hire. It quotes 72 hours to hire for contract roles and offers a trial of up to two weeks. See Ryz Labs vs Arc.
Lemon.io started in 2015 and matches startups with vetted developers, in its words from "Europe, LatAm, the US, and Canada." Its own 2025 review describes the pool as mostly senior Eastern European engineers, so it's the closest like-for-like to Proxify on this list. It says matching takes about 24 hours, there's no minimum duration or hours, and a senior engineer interviews every candidate, including a check on how they use AI tools. Direct hires come after a 4-week trial, with a published placement fee. See our Lemon.io alternatives.

Ryz Labs, if you want top 1% senior engineers who all work US business hours, plus AI pod teams that build in your cloud and ship to production. You see the plan, the price and the people before you start.
Yes. Nearshore teams in Latin America overlap with the US workday. Our engineers are all in Latin America on US business hours; see hiring LatAm developers and our list of nearshore outsourcing companies.
Arc publishes freelance hourly ranges and a 20% placement fee. Toptal publishes its $79 subscription fee but not hourly rates. We publish $7,000 to $15,000 per engineer per month for mid-level and senior engineers.
