Full disclosure: we're Ryz Labs, and we're on this list. So yes, we're biased. Here's what we'd actually tell a friend, including when you should hire someone else. Every fact about Nortal and the other firms comes from what they publish or from their Clutch listings, with sources at the end.
Nortal is a consultancy that now also owns Nearsure, a nearshore staffing firm it acquired in 2025. It sells platform-certified specialists for Salesforce, ServiceNow, Adobe and Microsoft, nearshore staff augmentation and AI-native teams. So the question that decides your shortlist is where your work lives. If it lives on a packaged platform, Nortal's certified bench is a real reason to stay. If it lives in your own code and cloud, compare firms that staff custom engineering.
Nortal is headquartered in Tallinn, Estonia, and says it has 25+ years of experience, 30 offices across Europe, the Middle East, Latin America and North America, and that it delivered 40 percent of Estonia's e-transformation. It acquired Nearsure in July 2025, called it the largest acquisition in its history, and rebranded it as Nortal that December. nearsure.com now redirects to nortal.com.
So there are two kinds of buyers here. Some come from the Nearsure side: they wanted Latin American engineers on US time and now find that offering inside a large consultancy with public-sector, healthcare and defence work. Others come for platforms: Nortal lists 350+ certified experts for Adobe, Microsoft, Salesforce and ServiceNow.
Nortal publishes ramp times: staff augmentation in 4 to 8 weeks, specialized staffing in under 30 days. It doesn't publish rates, and neither do the other firms here, except us.
Ryz engineers work on your team, reporting to your leads, in your repos, CI and standups. You meet each engineer by name before the engagement starts, and a team can start in under two weeks once you say go. Most of our engineers ship code in their first week. For AI work, our AI pod teams build systems in your cloud with AWS, Azure, GitHub, Postgres, Anthropic and OpenAI models.
The price is published: mid-level $7,000 to $10,000 a month, senior $10,000 to $15,000, leads quoted per team. Only the top 1% of the tens of thousands of engineers we interview make it. We'll sign your NDA before we share profiles, and you own all code and IP. See our vetting process and staff augmentation pages.
Where we're not the right fit: if your work is mostly configuring Salesforce, ServiceNow or Adobe, a platform-certified bench like Nortal's fits better. If you need teams in European time zones, or public-sector delivery experience in Europe, Nortal is built for that. See Ryz Labs vs Nortal.
CI&T is a NYSE-listed firm founded in Brazil in 1995, with $489.6 million in 2025 revenue and 7,993 employees. It sells AI deployment through its own CI&T FLOW platform and Lean AI method, and lists Salesforce, Adobe, AWS, Azure and Google among its enterprise platforms.
Where CI&T beats us: a large Brazil-centered bench for long programs. The catch: most of its revenue is time-and-materials billed hourly, per its annual report. See CI&T competitors.
Globant reported $2,454.9 million in 2025 revenue. It bills most work hourly and sells AI Pods per supervised token on Glob.AI.
Where Globant beats us: scale across regions. The catch: you buy a program or metered output, not a named team.
Wizeline is a 2014 firm with about 2,000 people on its own count. Like Nortal, it sells nearshore engineering and AI pods. Its pods are priced on outcomes.
Where Wizeline beats us: a vendor-run pod paid on outcomes. The catch: Clutch lists a $100,000+ minimum project. See Wizeline competitors.
Gorilla Logic has more than 20 years in nearshore engineering and says average client tenure is 8.5 years. It publishes ramp times of one to two weeks for staff augmentation and 3-4 weeks for pods.
Where Gorilla Logic beats us: long, vendor-led relationships. The catch: Clutch lists a $250,000+ minimum project.
BairesDev says it has 4,000+ engineers across 100+ technologies and teams ready in 2-4 weeks. It sells staff augmentation, dedicated teams and outsourced projects.
Where BairesDev beats us: breadth across stacks. The catch: rates aren't published.
If your work is custom software or AI in your own stack: Ryz Labs.
If you want a large program on a vendor's AI system: CI&T or Globant.
If you want a vendor-run pod paid on outcomes: Wizeline.
If you want a nearshore partner for years: Gorilla Logic.
If your work lives on Salesforce, ServiceNow, Adobe or Microsoft, or you need European delivery: stay with Nortal. Its certified bench is the reason to.
For large programs, CI&T and Globant. For nearshore teams, Wizeline, Gorilla Logic, BairesDev and Ryz Labs. Our Nortal alternatives page covers more options.

No. Its AI-native teams page says it tracks token use every sprint so clients can forecast cost, but it lists no prices. Its Clutch profile shows no hourly rate.
It varies by firm. Nortal publishes 4 to 8 weeks for staff augmentation; we start in under two weeks once you say go. Our guide on how to hire remote developers covers what slows it down.
