Jobsity vs BairesDev: which to choose (and a better option)

Two nearshore vendors supplying Latin American engineers at very different scale. Here's how they compare, and why Ryz Labs is the better choice for most US teams.

Quick note before we start: Ryz Labs wrote this page, and we're one of the options on it. We believe we're the stronger pick for most US engineering teams. Facts about Jobsity and BairesDev come from their own sites and public listings, linked at the end.

The short answer

Jobsity and BairesDev both supply Latin American engineers to US companies; the differences are scale and shape. Jobsity is a nearshore staffing firm that places developers on staff augmentation or dedicated teams at flat monthly rates, and also sells contact center (BPO) staffing. BairesDev is a far larger nearshore vendor (4,000+ engineers, by its own count) that sells staff augmentation, dedicated teams run by its own PMs, and full project outsourcing, with AI development as one of its technology services.

For most US teams that want senior engineers on their own team on US hours, or an AI pod team that builds in their cloud and ships to production, the better choice is Ryz Labs. You get top 1% senior engineers at a published price, and you see a scoped plan and the names of the people before you sign.

What Jobsity and BairesDev costs per engineer vs Ryz

Here is every public price signal we found, checked October 2026. Most firms in this market don't publish a rate card, so we show the hourly band on their Clutch listing and convert it to a monthly figure for one full-time engineer.

ProviderPublishes prices?Public price signalPer engineer per month (160 hrs)

Monthly figures are our math at 160 hours a month. Directory bands are entered by the firms themselves and are not quotes, so ask each vendor for a written monthly price for the same roles at the same seniority.

How Jobsity works

Jobsity was founded in 2012, according to Clutch, and its site lists an office in Houston, Texas. It says its developers come from 20+ Latin American countries; Clutch puts its employee band at 250-999. It sells staff augmentation, dedicated teams, BPO and contact center staffing, and developer training. Its vetting has four published steps (Smart Interview, technical screening, challenge, approval), with a JTalent AI platform for sourcing. It publishes its pricing model, not the amounts: flat monthly rates with "no additional fees for placement or recruitment", and a claim that clients "save up to 40% on hiring costs". It surfaces candidates "within minutes" of a discovery call, offers a "risk-free trial" (30 days on its Why Jobsity page, 15 on its homepage) and lets clients downsize on 30 days' notice. Its AI offer is sourcing tooling, AI training programs for developers and individual machine learning roles, not a dedicated AI team. Clutch lists $50-$99/hr and a $25,000+ minimum project.

How BairesDev works

BairesDev was founded in 2009 in Buenos Aires and has had US operations in San Francisco since 2012. It says it has 4,000+ engineers, 500+ clients and 1,480+ projects delivered, with most engineers in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico and other Latin American countries. It sells staff augmentation, dedicated teams ("focused pods handling full builds with BairesDev tech PMs driving delivery") and full software outsourcing, with AI development (agentic AI, custom LLMs, ML, NLP) as one of its technology services. It says 2.5 million+ people apply each year and it hires fewer than 1%, that engineers "work your hours", and that teams are ready in 2-4 weeks. It doesn't publish rates: cost "depends on your stack, team size, and project scope", and it says senior engineers "typically run 30-50% less than the fully loaded cost of a local hire". Clutch lists $50-$99/hr and a $50,000+ minimum project.

Why Ryz Labs is the better choice

Senior engineers who become part of your team. Jobsity places individual developers, and BairesDev's dedicated teams run under its own PMs. Our senior engineers join your standups, repos and roadmap from week one, on US business hours, and work to your leads, so the knowledge stays with your team.

Top 1%, out of tens of thousands interviewed. Recruiters source candidates, our in-house ARC system ranks the pipeline, structured NTRVSTA AI interviews test each one, and recruiters review before and after. AI scores are advisory; people decide. Our vetting process page shows every step.

AI pod teams that ship to production. A dedicated pod of about 7 senior engineers (tech lead, ML engineer, backend engineers) builds in your cloud, repos and CI, in AWS, Azure, GitHub, Postgres, and Anthropic and OpenAI models. Our pods built fraud detection for a global fleet company (244K+ invoices scored in under 30 seconds each, $5.94M in fraud confirmed by the client's own team) and a marketing compliance review system for a global capital management firm that took 8,000+ documents from days to hours. See our case studies.

A published price and named people before you commit. Neither Jobsity nor BairesDev publishes rate amounts. Ours are public: mid-level $7,000 to $10,000 a month, senior $10,000 to $15,000, leads $15,000+ quoted per team. Every quote comes with a scoped plan and the names of the people who would do the work.

Your code, your accounts. You own all code and IP our engineers produce, they work in your repos, cloud and tools, and you can revoke access at any time. We'll sign your NDA before we share profiles, and we replace an engineer free if they aren't the right fit. Fortune 500 engineering teams trust us across industries, including financial services.
