Toptal was founded in 2010 and is a fully remote company. It runs a global network of freelancers, including developers, designers, finance experts and product and project managers, and says it has served 35,000+ clients in 140+ countries. You hire individuals hourly, part-time or full-time at a fixed weekly price, plus a $79 monthly matching subscription. Toptal says the average match takes under 24 hours, and it offers a trial of up to two weeks. Full-time conversion is possible "for the most part," in its words. Hourly rates aren't published; Clutch lists a $100-$149/hr band.
