Disclosure: we're Ryz Labs, and we compete with Proxify. We think we're the right call for most US engineering teams, and we say where Proxify fits better. Facts about Proxify come from its own site, linked at the end.
For most US engineering teams, Ryz Labs is the better choice. Every Ryz engineer is a top 1% senior engineer in Latin America who works on your team on US business hours, so standups, pairing and code review happen the same day. When you need AI built, an AI pod team builds it in your cloud and ships it to production. You get a plan, a price and the names of the people before you start. Fortune 500 engineering teams trust us for this.
Proxify is a Stockholm-headquartered network of 6,000+ vetted remote professionals in more than 90 countries, with a published monthly price for a senior developer. It fits if you want developers from a global pool, often in European time zones, matched quickly at a rate you can see up front. If you want every engineer on New York hours, plus AI pod teams, pick Ryz.
US hours by design, not by luck of the match. Proxify's network spans more than 90 countries, which is a strength for European companies. For a US team it means overlap depends on which developer you get. All of our engineers are in Latin America and work on US business hours, including New York hours. Your 10 a.m. standup, your afternoon design review and your same-day code review all include them.
AI pod teams, not just AI hires. Proxify fills roles one person at a time, including data and AI roles. When you need an AI system built and running, we send a dedicated pod of senior engineers, typically about 7 people with a tech lead, an ML engineer and backend engineers. The pod works in your AWS or Azure account, your GitHub and your CI, with Anthropic and OpenAI models, and ships to production. See our AI pod teams.
Production results. A marketing-compliance system our pod built for a global capital management firm took review of 8,000+ documents from days to hours. Fraud detection for a global fleet company has scored 244K+ invoices in under 30 seconds each. An AI voice platform has made 1M+ outbound calls. The details are in our case studies.
Top 1%, with humans deciding. Both of us cite about 1% acceptance. Ours comes from tens of thousands of engineers interviewed. Recruiters source, our in-house ARC system ranks the pipeline, and every candidate gets a structured NTRVSTA AI interview, with recruiter review before and after. AI scores are advisory. You choose from a recruiter-curated shortlist. Read the vetting process.
Senior by default. Our engineers are mostly mid-level to senior, comparable to Amazon L5 and L6. You also get data, product and design people from the same partner, plus direct-hire placement when you want to hire someone yourself.
Proxify was founded in 2018 by Viktor Jarnheimer and is headquartered in Stockholm. It says it receives more than 20,000 applications a month and accepts about 1%. The client process is three steps: a 25-minute call to share your context, a selection of hand-picked candidates after about 2 days on average, then interviews and a start. Proxify assigns a client engineer and a client manager, handles the admin, and is ISO 27001 certified. It offers contract-to-hire, so you can later hire a developer directly. It describes itself as a vetted talent platform, "not a freelance marketplace."
Proxify publishes its price: $5,600 to $8,800 per month for one senior developer working 40 hours a week, which it equates to $35-$55 an hour, with "all expenses included." That's a lower published band than ours. The difference is what you're buying: a developer from a global pool versus a top 1% senior engineer on US business hours, or a whole AI pod.
Typical Ryz cost is $7,000-$15,000 per engineer per month. Mid-level (comparable to Amazon L5 / SDE II) is $7,000-$10,000. Senior (comparable to Amazon L6) is $10,000-$15,000. Leads are $15,000+ and quoted per team. Quotes are scoped per team: you get a plan, a price and the names of the people before you start. On published numbers, yes: Proxify lists $5,600-$8,800 a month for a senior developer, and our senior range is $10,000-$15,000. Compare like for like: seniority, US-hours overlap, and whether you need one developer or a team that ships a system.
Proxify says its network covers more than 90 countries. Ours is Latin America only, which is why we can put every engineer on US business hours.
We offer direct-hire placement and executive search, remote or on-site, if you want to hire someone yourself. Ask us which fits your plan.
