Heads up: we're Ryz Labs, so we have skin in this game. This is the case we make to buyers on calls. Facts about other providers come from their own published information, linked at the end.
Andela is a global talent marketplace that staffs and trains AI engineers across many regions. Turing's core business is training data, evaluation and RL environments for frontier AI labs, and it also sells enterprise AI build work through pods and forward-deployed engineers. One is mainly a talent network; the other is mainly an AI lab supplier with an enterprise services line.
For most US teams that want senior engineers inside their own team on US hours, or an AI pod team that builds inside their stack and ships to production, the better choice is Ryz Labs. Every Ryz engineer works within one hour of US time zones, only the top 1% make it through our vetting, and you see the names of your team before you sign.
Andela was founded in 2014 and has been fully remote since 2020 (Wikipedia). It describes itself as "the human layer powering production AI" and says it has 17,000 certified AI-native engineers and has trained 200,000+ technologists since 2014. Wikipedia cites 150,000+ talent across about 135 countries. It sells individual engineers, blended or managed teams, AI system development, training as a service and Andela Pay. Pricing isn't published; its pricing page routes buyers to a discovery call.
Turing was founded in 2018 and is based in San Francisco. Its homepage says it helps "frontier labs improve models and enterprises deploy agentic systems." It raised a $111M Series E at a $2.2B valuation in 2025 and says it has a network of 4M+ engineers and experts. For enterprises it sells "Turing Intelligence" in three parts (Advise, Augment and Build), plus Turing pods and forward-deployed AI engineers. Delivery comes from a remote global network. Pricing isn't published.
Every engineer on New York hours. Andela and Turing both draw from large global networks, where overlap depends on who's staffed. Every Ryz engineer works within one hour of US time zones, so standups, pairing and code review happen the same day across your whole team.
Senior engineers inside your team, top 1% vetted. Our engineers join your standups, your repos and your roadmap from week one, and work to your leads. We've interviewed tens of thousands of engineers, and only the top 1% make it. Recruiters source, our in-house ARC system ranks the pipeline, every candidate goes through a structured NTRVSTA AI interview, and recruiters review each one before and after. AI scores are advisory; people decide. Our vetting process page shows every step.
AI pod teams that ship to production. Building AI is one of our two core businesses. Our pods (typically about 7 senior engineers, including a tech lead, an ML engineer and backend engineers) build inside your cloud, repos and CI, in AWS, Azure, GitHub, Postgres, and Anthropic and OpenAI models, with weekly demos. Fraud detection for a global fleet company has scored 244K+ invoices in under 30 seconds each, with $5.94M in fraud confirmed by the client's fraud team. An AI voice platform has made 1M+ outbound calls, and an AI driver-support agent handles 218K driver questions a year in three languages. See our case studies. When the system is done, you can grow the pod or have it handed over to your team.
You see the team before you commit. You get a scoped plan, a price and the names of the people who would do the work before you sign. You sign one contract with Ryz; our engineers work with us as independent contractors, and we handle paying them.
Trusted by Fortune 500 engineering teams, across industries. We work with US enterprises in every industry, including financial services, with decades of LatAm expertise. Our recruiting AI is governed under EU AI Act high-risk requirements, and we follow GDPR and CCPA/CPRA.

Neither publishes pricing. See Andela pricing and Turing pricing. Ryz quotes per team, and the quote comes with a scoped plan and the names of your engineers.
For a US team, Ryz Labs. Our AI pod teams build inside your stack on your hours and have systems in production, from fraud detection to an AI voice platform with 1M+ outbound calls.
Neither Andela nor Turing publishes a US-hours commitment; overlap depends on who is staffed. Every Ryz engineer works within one hour of US time zones.
Yes. Our AI pod teams are forward-deployed: they work inside your cloud, repos and CI, alongside your team, with weekly demos. See our guide to forward-deployed engineering firms, or talk to us.
