We'll say this up front: Ryz Labs wrote this page, and we compete with Kforce. Every fact about Kforce comes from its own site, its public filings or documents it has signed, with sources at the end.
Choose Kforce if you want an established, NYSE-listed technology staffing firm with US offices, consultants on hourly assignments that average about 10 months, and managed team options with a dedicated team lead.
Choose Ryz if you need senior engineers who ship, or an AI team that builds in your stack: engineers who passed a top 1% bar, working on your team on US business hours from week one, or a dedicated AI pod team. Our price range is public, and you see the names of your engineers before you sign.
Engineers vetted before you meet them. We do one job: senior engineering talent and AI teams. We've interviewed tens of thousands of engineers, and only the top 1% make it. Recruiters source candidates, our in-house ARC system ranks the pipeline, every candidate goes through a structured NTRVSTA AI interview, and recruiters review each one before and after. AI scores are advisory; people decide. Our vetting process page shows every step.
On your team, on your hours. Our engineers work on your team, reporting to your leads. They join your standups, your repos and your roadmap from week one, on US business hours, including New York hours, so code review happens the same day.
AI pod teams that ship to production. Our second business is dedicated pods of senior engineers (often around seven, with a tech lead, an ML engineer and backend engineers) that build AI systems in your cloud, repos and CI, with weekly demos. Fraud detection for a global fleet company has scored 244K+ invoices in under 30 seconds each, with $5.94M in fraud confirmed by the client's own fraud team. An AI voice platform has made 1M+ outbound calls. See our case studies.
A price you can see, and names before you sign. Our range is public: $7,000 to $15,000 per engineer per month, scoped per team. After a first conversation you get a scoped plan, a price, and the names of the people who would do the work. You own all the code and IP, we'll sign your NDA, and you control every engineer's access.
Trusted by Fortune 500 engineering teams, across industries. We work with US enterprises in every industry, including financial services. Our recruiting AI is governed under EU AI Act high-risk requirements, and we follow GDPR and CCPA/CPRA.
Kforce was founded in 1962 and trades on the NYSE (KFRC). Technology is 93% of its revenue; the rest is finance and accounting. It places talent on contract, contract-to-hire and direct-hire terms, and sells Team Solutions (managed teams with a dedicated team lead) and Project Solutions (outcome-managed projects). It has 31 US offices, and in 2025 it opened a development center in Pune, India, which began supporting US client work in January 2025. It also runs an international talent program and says it has sponsored 20,000+ visas since 2000.
Here is every public price signal we found, checked October 2026. Most firms in this market don't publish a rate card, so we show the hourly band on their Clutch listing and convert it to a monthly figure for one full-time engineer.
Monthly figures are our math at 160 hours a month. Directory bands are entered by the firms themselves and are not quotes, so ask each vendor for a written monthly price for the same roles at the same seniority.
Kforce doesn't publish rates, but its 2025 annual report (10-K) is unusually specific. The average technology bill rate was about $89 an hour in the fourth quarter of 2025, which is about $14,240 a month for one full-time consultant at 160 hours (our math). Average assignments run about 10 months. Technology Flex gross profit was 25.6% of Flex revenue in 2025, which Kforce says reflects the spread between consultants' bill rates and pay rates. Conversions of contract consultants to permanent hires are booked as direct-hire revenue, but the fee isn't disclosed, so get your conversion terms in writing.
Our typical cost is $7,000 to $15,000 per engineer per month (mid-level $7,000 to $10,000, senior $10,000 to $15,000, leads $15,000+ quoted per team), and every quote is scoped per team. With it you get a scoped plan, a price, and the names of the people who would do the work, before you sign anything. For rates by role, see our rates page.
