Full disclosure: we're Ryz Labs, and we're one of the options on this page. We think we're the better choice for most US teams, and we'll show you why. Everything we say about BairesDev and Turing comes from their own sites and public sources, linked at the end.
BairesDev and Turing look similar from a distance (both supply engineers), but they sell different things. BairesDev is a nearshore software company, founded in Buenos Aires, that provides staff augmentation, dedicated teams run by its own technical PMs, and outsourced projects across 100+ technologies. Turing is a San Francisco AI company whose core business is training data, evaluation and RL environments for frontier AI labs. It also sells enterprise AI build work through "Turing Intelligence," Turing pods and forward-deployed AI engineers.
If you want general software capacity from Latin America, BairesDev is the closer fit. If you're a frontier lab buying model-level data work, Turing is. For most US teams that want top 1% senior engineers working on their own team on US business hours, or an AI pod team that builds in their cloud and ships to production, the better choice is Ryz Labs. You see a scoped plan, a price and the names of the people before you sign.
BairesDev was founded in Buenos Aires in 2009 and began US operations in San Francisco in 2012. It says it has 4,000+ engineers, 500+ client companies and 1,480+ projects delivered. Most of its engineers are based across Argentina, Brazil, Colombia and Mexico. It sells three models: staff augmentation, where engineers "work your hours, use your tools, and follow your workflows"; dedicated teams, which it describes as "focused pods handling full builds with BairesDev tech PMs driving delivery"; and end-to-end software outsourcing. AI development (agentic systems, custom LLMs, ML and NLP) is one of its technology services. It says teams are ready in 2-4 weeks. It doesn't publish rates or trial terms; Clutch lists $50-$99/hr and a $50,000+ minimum project.
Turing was founded in 2018 and is based in San Francisco. Its homepage says it helps "frontier labs improve models and enterprises deploy agentic systems." It raised a $111M Series E at a $2.2B valuation in 2025. For enterprises it sells "Turing Intelligence" in three parts (Advise, Augment and Build), pods that combine AI talent with domain specialists, and forward-deployed AI engineers, plus an industry offer for financial services. Its Build page says clients keep their code and IP. Delivery comes from a remote global network, and public FDE job postings include Hyderabad, India. Pricing isn't published.
Senior engineers on your team, on your hours. Our senior Latin American engineers join your standups, repos and roadmap from week one and work to your leads. Every one of them works US business hours, so a pull request opened at 10am gets reviewed the same day. With a global network like Turing's, overlap depends on who is staffed. BairesDev also works US hours; the difference with Ryz is the vetting bar and the fact that you meet the named team before you commit.
Top 1%, out of tens of thousands interviewed. Recruiters source, our in-house ARC system ranks the pipeline, every candidate goes through a structured NTRVSTA AI interview, and recruiters review each one before and after. AI scores are advisory; people decide. Our vetting process page shows every step.
AI pod teams that ship to production. At BairesDev, AI is one service among 100+ technologies. At Turing, enterprise build work sits next to a much larger lab-data business. Building AI is one of our two core businesses. A typical AI pod is about 7 senior engineers, including a tech lead, an ML engineer and backend engineers, working in your cloud, repos and CI (AWS, Azure, GitHub, Postgres, Anthropic and OpenAI models), with weekly demos. Our pods built fraud detection for a global fleet company that has scored 244K+ invoices in under 30 seconds each, with $5.94M in fraud confirmed by the client's fraud team, and an AI voice platform with 1M+ outbound calls. See our case studies.
Published prices. Neither BairesDev nor Turing publishes a rate. Ours: mid-level engineers $7,000 to $10,000 a month, senior $10,000 to $15,000, leads $15,000+ quoted per team. A three-engineer senior team for six months is 3 × $10,000 to $15,000 × 6, or $180,000 to $270,000. Our AI development cost calculator runs the same math for a pod.
Trusted by Fortune 500 engineering teams. We work with US enterprises in every industry, including financial services. We follow GDPR and CCPA/CPRA, and our recruiting AI is governed under EU AI Act high-risk requirements.

Neither publishes pricing. Clutch lists BairesDev at $50-$99/hr; we found no comparable figure for Turing. See BairesDev pricing and Turing pricing. Ryz typically costs $7,000 to $15,000 per engineer per month, and every quote names the engineers.
For a US enterprise that wants an agent built in its own stack and shipped, Ryz Labs: our pods have agents in production, including an AI driver-support agent covering about 218,000 driver calls a year in three languages. Turing fits model-level work; BairesDev fits well-defined AI scopes your own team architects.
BairesDev says its engineers work your hours. Turing doesn't publish a US-hours commitment. Every Ryz engineer works on US business hours, including New York hours. See hire LatAm developers.
Yes. Many teams start with one or two senior engineers through staff augmentation, then add a pod when an AI project is ready. Talk to us to scope it.
We checked pricing and services for every provider here in October 2026. This changes often, so double-check before you sign anything.
