Heads up: we're Ryz Labs, and we sell AI pods too, so read this as our side of the argument. Every fact about Globant below comes from Globant's own launch pages, pricing page or SEC filings, checked in October 2026 and linked at the end.
Globant and Ryz both say "AI pod", but they mean different things. A Globant AI Pod is, in Globant's words, a human-supervised delivery unit that combines documented workflows, AI agents and expert supervision from Globant. It runs on Glob.AI OS, the operating layer Globant announced on October 27, 2026, and Software Pods are billed per supervised token for approved output.
A Ryz AI pod is a team of senior engineers you meet by name before anything starts. They work on your team, in your repos, your cloud and your standups, report to your leads, and build the AI system with you until it runs in production. You pay a published price per engineer, $7,000 to $15,000 a month, and a pod can start in under two weeks once you say go.
If you want named people who own the build inside your stack, with a price you can put in a budget before the first call, pick Ryz. If you want to buy metered agent output from a catalog of predefined pods, Globant's model is built for that.
Globant expanded Glob.AI with Glob.AI OS, which it calls "a unified layer to govern and adopt AI across the enterprise." It has four parts: an Intelligence Hub that connects 320+ models from 25+ providers, a Corporate Hub, an Agentic Hub, and a Token Vault that tracks AI budgets and cost attribution. Globant says Glob.AI is built on two pillars, AI Pods and Glob.AI OS, and that enterprises "pay for outcomes or consumption, rather than hours or seats."
This is the latest step in a model Globant has been building since June 5, 2025, when it introduced AI Pods as a monthly subscription "with token-based metered capacity." In August 2026 it moved to charging "per output or per consumption, never per seat or per hour." Globant reported $20.6 million in AI Pods ARR at the end of 2025 and $52.8 million in Glob.AI ARR in Q2 2026.
You know who is building your system. Before you sign, you see a scoped plan, a price and the names of the people who would do the work, and you meet them. They join your standups, your CI and your weekly demos. When a question comes up at 3pm in New York, a person who knows your codebase answers it the same day.
It runs in your stack, not on ours. Our pods work in your repos and cloud accounts with the tools you already use, such as AWS, Azure, GitHub, Postgres, and Anthropic and OpenAI models. There is no Ryz platform to adopt and nothing to migrate off later. When the work is done, the code and the know-how stay with your team.
One accountable team. A Ryz pod owns the build with your leads, from the first commit to production and handover. You don't manage a queue of approved outputs; you manage a team toward a working system.
A price you can budget before the first call. We publish ours: $7,000 to $15,000 per engineer per month. A pod of five senior engineers runs about $50,000 to $75,000 a month, with a tech lead quoted per team. Consumption pricing can work well for repeatable tasks, but its cost depends on volume you only learn after you start.
Fast to start, and proven in production. A pod can start in under two weeks once you say go. Our pods have built AI fraud detection for a global fleet company ($5.94M in confirmed fraud, 244K+ invoices scored), marketing compliance review for a leading alternative asset manager (8,000+ documents, days to hours) and a driver-support agent that covers about 218,000 calls a year in three languages. Only the top 1% of the tens of thousands of engineers we interview make it. See our case studies.
Globant is a NYSE-listed firm with 27,411 Globers at the end of Q2 2026 and $2,454.9 million in 2025 revenue. If your work fits one of its predefined pod types, such as legacy re-platforming or monolith decomposition, and you'd rather pay for approved output than for people, its model is designed for that. Glob.AI OS may also appeal if you want one governance layer across hundreds of models. If you want catalog capacity rather than a team, it's a reasonable choice.
Globant publishes its Glob.AI plan tiers and billing units: Software Pods per supervised token for approved output, Ops Pods per output resolved, and a monthly minimum usage fee on paid plans. The only dollar figures on the page are platform overage meters, such as $0.75 per 1,000 requests. For the rest of its business, Globant's 2025 annual report says it works "primarily under time-and-materials contracts" at hourly rates that depend on the project. We found no public per-engineer rate for Globant.
Ryz pricing is per engineer: mid-level engineers $7,000 to $10,000 a month, senior engineers $10,000 to $15,000, and leads quoted per team. See engineer rates by role or our Globant pricing breakdown.

Not in the way a Ryz pod is. Globant describes its pods as AI agents and documented workflows supervised by Globant experts, including Forward Deployed Engineers. A Ryz pod is a team of senior engineers you meet by name, who build with your team.
Globant doesn't publish a dollar price for a Pod. Its pricing page bills Software Pods per supervised token for approved output, against a monthly minimum on paid plans. Ask for a written monthly estimate for your workload before you commit.
$7,000 to $15,000 per engineer per month. A pod of five senior engineers runs about $50,000 to $75,000 a month, plus a tech lead quoted per team.
