Quick note before we start: Ryz Labs wrote this page, and we're one of the options on it. We believe we're the stronger pick for most US engineering teams. Facts about other providers come from public sources, listed below.
EPAM Systems does not publish pricing. It's a NYSE-listed, S&P 500 engineering and consulting firm with about 62,850 people and $5.457B in FY2025 revenue, and it prices programs through proposals, not rate cards. The public reference point is Clutch, which lists EPAM at $150-$199/hr with a $100,000+ minimum project size. Those are directory figures, not an EPAM price list.
For most US teams, Ryz Labs is the better value. You get top 1% senior engineers inside your own team, or a dedicated AI pod team that builds inside your cloud and ships to production, all within one hour of US time zones. Before you sign, you see a scoped plan, a price, and the names of the people who would do the work, scoped to the team you need. Get a Ryz quote next to your EPAM proposal and compare what each one actually buys.
EPAM sells several kinds of work. All are quoted.
EPAM's site lists no rate card, trial or minimum. Buyers get a proposal for their program.
Where the team sits. EPAM's largest delivery locations at the end of 2025 were India (about 12,200 people), Ukraine (about 8,750), Poland (about 5,050), Belarus (about 3,400) and Mexico (about 2,950), per its 10-K. Location affects both the rate and the overlap with US Eastern hours.
Program size and structure. EPAM's model fits multi-workstream programs. Governance, program management and consulting layers are part of what you're buying.
Industry practice. Financial services is EPAM's largest vertical (24.1% of FY2025 revenue). Ask how industry consulting is reflected in the proposal.
Accelerators. EPAM brings DIAL and its AI/Run blueprints. Ask whether using them changes the estimate, and what you own when the program ends.
When you compare EPAM with Ryz, compare on the same scope and duration, and ask EPAM to separate engineering from program management in the quote.
We quote per team and don't publish rates, because the right team depends on your stack, your roadmap and what your own engineers will carry. After a first conversation, you get three things before you sign: a scoped plan, a price, and the names of the people who would do the work.
What the price buys. Senior Latin American engineers who join your standups, your repos and your roadmap from week one, within one hour of US time zones. Only the top 1% make it, out of tens of thousands of engineers interviewed, through recruiter sourcing, our in-house ARC ranking, structured NTRVSTA AI interviews and recruiter review. You choose from a recruiter-curated shortlist. See our vetting process.
AI pod teams. When you need AI built, a dedicated pod (often about 7 senior engineers, including a tech lead, an ML engineer and backend engineers) builds inside your cloud and repos, in AWS, Azure, GitHub and Postgres, with Anthropic and OpenAI models, and shows working software in weekly demos. Our pods have shipped fraud detection that has confirmed $5.94M in fraud across 244K+ invoices, and a marketing-compliance system that took review of 8,000+ documents from days to hours for a global capital management firm. See our case studies.
One contract. You sign one contract with Ryz. Our engineers work with us as independent contractors, and we handle paying them. Fortune 500 engineering teams trust us, across every industry, including financial services.
If you're running a broad, multi-year program across many regions and want one vendor for every workstream, EPAM's model is built for that.
For most US teams, Ryz is the better value. You pay for senior engineers and AI pod teams who build inside your stack, not for a program structure around them. You work on New York hours, so review and decisions happen the same day. You know the names of the people before you sign, and the team is scoped to what you need rather than to a $100,000+ project floor. And when you need AI, you get a pod with systems already in production. Get a Ryz quote and put it next to your EPAM proposal.

EPAM doesn't publish one. Clutch lists $100,000+. Ryz scopes to the team you need.
EPAM has about 2,950 people in Mexico plus other Latin American sites, and its largest delivery locations are in India and Central and Eastern Europe. Every Ryz engineer works within one hour of US time zones.
Match the scope and duration, ask EPAM to separate engineering from program management, and ask each vendor who exactly would do the work. Our quote includes the names.
