Heads up: we're Ryz Labs, and we're the first option on this page. We'd rather be useful than coy about that, so we also say when Nortal is the better call. Facts about Nortal and the other firms come from their own sites and public listings, linked at the end.
Nortal is a digital transformation company headquartered in Tallinn, Estonia. It reported €254.2 million in 2025 revenue, says it has 2,700+ people in 30 offices across Europe, the Middle East, Latin America and North America, and is known for digital government work. It sells staff augmentation, AI-native delivery teams, platform work and cybersecurity, and it absorbed Nearsure in 2025 and Pwrteams in 2026. Buyers look elsewhere for structural reasons: they want every engineer on US hours rather than a mix of European and American hubs, they want to start faster than the four to eight weeks Nortal publishes for staff augmentation, or they want a published price. For that, our pick is Ryz Labs. If you need one partner for government or regulated work across several regions, Nortal is a sensible place to stay.
Here is every public price signal we found, checked October 2026. Most firms in this market don't publish a rate card, so we show the hourly band on their Clutch listing and convert it to a monthly figure for one full-time engineer.
Monthly figures are our math at 160 hours a month. Directory bands are entered by the firms themselves and are not quotes, so ask each vendor for a written monthly price for the same roles at the same seniority.
Fortune 500 engineering teams trust us for two things. The first is senior engineers: only the top 1% of the tens of thousands of engineers we've interviewed make it, and they join your standups, repos and roadmap on US business hours, including New York hours. That's our staff augmentation business. The second is AI pod teams: dedicated pods of senior engineers that build AI systems in your cloud and ship them to production. A typical pod is about seven people, including a tech lead, an ML engineer and backend engineers, working in your AWS or Azure account, your GitHub and your CI, with a weekly demo.
The main differences from Nortal are hours and speed. Every Ryz engineer works US business hours, and we can usually start in under two weeks once you say go, with named engineers you meet before the engagement starts. Pods have shipped fraud detection for a global fleet company that has scored 244K+ invoices in under 30 seconds each, with $5.94M in fraud confirmed by the client's fraud team. See our case studies and vetting process.
We price per engineer. Mid-level engineers (comparable to Amazon L5) are $7,000 to $10,000 a month, seniors (comparable to Amazon L6) are $10,000 to $15,000, and leads are quoted per team. A five-person senior pod is about $50,000 to $75,000 a month. For the head-to-head, see Ryz Labs vs Nortal.
Where we're not the right fit: you need engineers in Europe or Middle East time zones, you want a partner for digital government or defense programs, or you want enterprise platform consulting on Adobe, Salesforce or ServiceNow.
Endava is NYSE-listed and, like Nortal, delivers from Eastern Europe and Latin America. It has a dedicated payments practice and claims "90% of largest payment companies count on us." Working hours depend on where your team sits. See our Ryz Labs vs Endava page.
EPAM is an S&P 500 engineering firm with about 62,850 people. It sells managed delivery, consulting, the AI/Run suite and the open-source DIAL platform. It is the larger, engineering-heavy alternative if you want one global vendor. See our EPAM alternatives.
Gorilla Logic, founded in 2002 and headquartered in Colorado, runs delivery centers in San José, Costa Rica and Medellín, Colombia, plus teams in Mexico. It sells staff augmentation, "Gorilla Pods" and multi-stream delivery, with published ramp ranges by model. See Ryz Labs vs Gorilla Logic.
BairesDev was founded in Buenos Aires in 2009 and says it has 4,000+ engineers across 100+ technologies, mostly in Latin America. It sells staff augmentation, dedicated teams led by its own technical PMs and full software outsourcing, plus AI development. See our BairesDev alternatives.

Ryz Labs, if you want top 1% senior engineers on your team, all on US business hours, with a published price and a start that's usually under two weeks once you say go.
Endava. Both deliver from Eastern Europe and Latin America and run managed programs for large clients. EPAM is larger and more global.
