Quick note before we start: Ryz Labs wrote this page, and we're one of the options on it. We think we're the better pick for one specific job, and we'll tell you when Deloitte is the better one. Facts about other firms come from public sources, listed at the end.
Deloitte is a global network of member firms that reported US$74.5B in fiscal 2026 revenue and nearly 500,000 people in more than 150 countries and territories. Its businesses span Audit & Assurance, Tax & Legal, Strategy, Risk & Transactions, and Technology & Transformation. In AI it sells a three-phase agentic program (strategy, build, operate) and Zora AI, ready-made agents offered as a cloud subscription. Buyers look at alternatives for two common reasons. First, they have the strategy and need engineers to build one system in their own stack. Second, Deloitte is their auditor, and independence rules limit the systems work it can take on. For the build itself, our pick is Ryz Labs.
Deloitte's agentic AI work runs from readiness and strategy through build to operate. Many buyers already own the first phase: a use-case list, a governance model, a pilot. What they lack is a team that will turn one use case into a working system on live data. That's what a Ryz AI pod team does. A typical pod is about seven senior engineers, including a tech lead, an ML engineer and backend engineers, sized to the job. The pod works in your AWS or Azure account, your GitHub and your Postgres, with Anthropic or OpenAI models, and shows progress in a weekly demo.
Zora AI is a good example of the build-or-buy choice. Deloitte offers ready-made agents for finance, HR, procurement and customer service on subscription. If one fits your process, that may be the right buy. If your process is specific to you, a pod can build exactly what it needs. A global capital management firm faced that choice for marketing compliance: pay a systems integrator to customize Salesforce, or license a compliance SaaS platform. Instead, a Ryz pod that grew from zero to three engineers built a review system that handles 8,000+ marketing materials a year. Review time fell from days to hours, and the firm avoided hundreds of thousands of dollars in licensing. See the marketing compliance case study and our guide to custom software vs SaaS vs a systems integrator.
You get a scoped plan, a price and the names of the people before work starts, and those are the people who build it. Only the top 1% of the tens of thousands of engineers we've interviewed make it through our vetting process. Our pods work US business hours, including New York hours, and Fortune 500 engineering teams trust us with production work. Mid-level engineers are $7,000 to $10,000 a month and seniors $10,000 to $15,000; a project costs team size × months × rate.
Where we're not the right fit: if you need audit, tax, risk advisory or a board-level transformation, that's Deloitte's home ground, and we'd point you there.
Accenture reported $74.2B in fiscal 2026 revenue and about 814,000 people. It runs an Accenture Anthropic Business Group with about 30,000 people trained on Claude. See our Accenture alternatives.
Thoughtworks was founded in 1993 and taken private by Apax Funds in 2024. It sells AI strategy and agentic engineering, plus AI/works and Agent/works, two platforms launched in 2026. See Ryz Labs vs Thoughtworks.
Tribe AI works in three phases: Map (find opportunities), Build (forward-deployed engineers ship systems) and Activate (adoption). It covers more of the strategy work a consultancy would do. See Ryz Labs vs Tribe AI.
EPAM is an S&P 500 engineering firm with about 62,850 people, selling managed delivery, consulting and the open-source DIAL platform. See our EPAM alternatives.
If the strategy is done and you need it built, talk to us. Our AI consulting page explains how our pods scope work, and our guide to alternatives to big consultancies for building AI covers more options.
There are limits. SEC independence rules list financial information systems design and implementation among the non-audit services an auditor can't provide to a public audit client, with narrow conditions. Your audit committee and Deloitte will decide what's allowed. Ryz isn't an audit firm, so those rules don't apply to us.
Ryz Labs, when you need one system built in your own stack. You get a senior AI pod on your team, on US business hours, with a scoped plan, a price and named engineers before work starts.
It doesn't publish rates. Zora AI is offered as a cloud subscription. Ryz publishes ranges: $7,000 to $15,000 per engineer per month for mid-level and senior engineers.
Buy when the agent fits your process with light setup. Build when the process is specific to you or the data can't leave your cloud. Our build vs buy AI guide covers how to decide.
We checked these facts in October 2026. Pricing and services change often, so confirm the details with each firm before you sign.
