We'll say this up front: Ryz Labs wrote this page, and we're one of the companies on it. When another option is the better call, we say so plainly.
Jobsity places pre-vetted Latin American developers with US companies on flat monthly rates, with no placement fees and a 30-day risk-free trial. That's a good deal for a lot of buyers. People look elsewhere for a few structural reasons. Rate amounts aren't published. Jobsity's Clutch profile has only five reviews, so there's little third-party evidence for big engagements. It also runs a contact center business, so engineering isn't its only focus. And it doesn't market a dedicated AI team offering. If you want one developer on simple monthly terms, Jobsity may be all you need, and we say so below.
If you're outgrowing single placements and want senior engineers working as part of your team, start with us. Fortune 500 engineering teams trust us for exactly this. Our engineers join your standups and repos from week one and work within an hour of US time zones. Only the top 1% make it: recruiters source, our in-house ARC system ranks the pipeline, structured NTRVSTA AI interviews narrow it, and a recruiter curates the shortlist before you run the final interview. We also run AI pod teams, dedicated pods of senior engineers that build AI systems inside your cloud and ship them to production. See our vetting process.
Where we're not the right fit: if you want a self-serve trial, published monthly terms, or a single short engagement, Jobsity or Scalable Path is easier to start with. For a head-to-head, see Ryz Labs vs Jobsity.
If Jobsity's monthly model is more commitment than you want, Scalable Path bills hourly for hours worked, with a 150-hour minimum and a two-week risk-free trial. It publishes its vetting funnel (application, video screen, live coding, senior engineer review) and says "About 4% make it through." It holds a 4.9/5 Clutch rating from 14 reviews. The catch: you get individual contractors, not a managed team, and its pitch is openly human-first rather than AI-focused. See Ryz Labs vs Scalable Path.
Revelo is a talent platform. It says it has 400K+ vetted LatAm developers who work within two hours of US Eastern time, and it handles payroll, benefits and compliance in 18 countries. It offers a two-week trial and month-to-month terms. The catch: day-to-day technical management sits with you. See Ryz Labs vs Revelo.
If you like Jobsity's transparency but want to see the actual split, Howdy publishes it: 85% to the professional and 15% to Howdy, covering recruiting, employment, benefits, equipment and office access. The catch: no trial period was found, and Howdy has little independent review evidence.
Distillery offers staff augmentation, dedicated agile teams and full custom development, with over 250 professionals by its own count. It says it's an Anthropic services partner and an OpenAI Select Partner, and its Clutch rating is 5.0/5 from 14 reviews. The catch: there's no public pricing, and one Clutch reviewer said it was "hard to vet their quality" on a couple of hires. See Ryz Labs vs Distillery.
Stay if you need one or a few developers and value predictable monthly billing with no placement fees. Stay if the 30-day trial and 30-day downsizing notice matter to your budget. Stay if your current developers are working out: Jobsity claims 95% average retention, and switching costs real time. And stay if you also want contact center staffing from the same vendor.
Consider moving if you need senior engineers who work as part of your team on a larger program, or an AI pod team that builds and ships an AI system in your own cloud. Our guide to staff augmentation for senior engineers covers the wider field.
Scalable Path is the most transparent: hourly billing, a 150-hour minimum, and an indicative rate of about $53/hr on its own site. Howdy publishes its fee split. Get quotes for the same role before you compare.
If you want an AI engineer or two, most firms here can place them; see our page on hiring AI engineers. If you want a dedicated team to build an AI system in your cloud, look at AI pod teams like ours, or Distillery's AI-assisted delivery.
Ryz, Revelo and Howdy are Latin America based and overlap well with US Eastern time. Scalable Path and Distillery also have people in Europe, so ask where your developer sits.
Revelo and Howdy are built around long-term full-time hires. We also do direct-hire placement. Ask any vendor about conversion terms up front.
