We'll say this up front: Ryz Labs wrote this page, and we think we're the better choice here. We've kept every fact about other companies to what they publish themselves or what public listings show, with sources at the end.
Andela does not publish pricing. Its pricing page, checked in October 2026, shows no rates, minimums, trial or contract terms, and routes buyers to a discovery call. The only price on Andela's own site is a sample talent profile showing "$6,500 - $8,500 per month" for a Senior Data Analyst, which is an illustration, not a rate card. Figures for minimum terms, conversion fees and monthly ranges that circulate online come from competitor-written blogs and aren't confirmed by Andela, so we don't repeat them here. Ask Andela to put its terms in writing.
For most US teams, Ryz Labs is the better value. You get top 1% senior Latin American engineers inside your team, within one hour of US time zones, and before you sign you see a scoped plan, a price and the names of the people who would do the work. If you're pricing Andela, get a Ryz quote for the same roles and compare what you're actually buying.
Andela sells several models, and each one is quoted after a discovery call.
Andela says hiring "can take as little as 48 hours." Its pricing page lists no trial.
Region. Andela is global. Its site names Kenya, Brazil, India, Europe and North America, and Wikipedia says roughly 60% of the network is in Africa and Latin America. Where your engineer sits affects the rate and the overlap with your hours. A Brazil-based sample profile on Andela's site shows "4 hours overlap."
Seniority and AI skills. Andela leads with AI engineering and certification, so certified AI engineers and senior roles are quoted differently from general developers.
Engagement model. One augmented engineer, a blended team and a scoped AI build are different contracts with different overheads.
Term. Andela doesn't publish a minimum term, so confirm it in writing before you plan around a short project.
A practical tip: send every vendor the same brief (roles, seniority, hours, start date, duration) and ask for monthly prices per person plus all fees, and the names of the people who would do the work. That's the only fair comparison when nobody publishes rates.
Our pricing is a custom quote, scoped per team. After a first conversation, you get three things before you sign: a scoped plan, a price, and the names of the people who would do the work. You know exactly who you're paying for before any contract exists.
What you're paying for. Top 1% senior Latin American engineers, out of tens of thousands interviewed. Recruiters source candidates, our in-house ARC system ranks the pipeline, every candidate goes through a structured NTRVSTA AI interview, and recruiters review each one before and after. AI scores are advisory; people decide. Our vetting process page shows every step.
Every engineer on US hours. Our engineers work within one hour of US time zones and join your standups, your repos and your roadmap from week one, so review happens the same day across the whole team.
AI pod teams on the same terms. If you need AI built, we scope a dedicated pod (often about 7 senior engineers, including a tech lead and an ML engineer) that works inside your cloud and repos, with weekly demos, and ships to production. Our pods have built fraud detection that confirmed $5.94M in fraud across 244K+ invoices, and a compliance system that took 8,000+ documents from days to hours. See our case studies.
One contract. You sign one contract with Ryz. Our engineers work with us as independent contractors, and we handle paying them. If you need engineers as employees with benefits, an EOR partner is the right tool.
Andela fits programs that need talent spread across Africa, Europe and Asia time zones, or follow-the-sun coverage.
For most US teams, Ryz is the better value. Every engineer works on New York hours, inside your standups and repos, so you get same-day review across the whole team. Only the top 1% make it through our vetting, and Fortune 500 engineering teams trust us. You see the names of your engineers and a scoped plan before you sign, and when you need AI built, our AI pod teams ship it to production inside your cloud. Compare a quote from us for the same roles. See Ryz Labs vs Andela and Andela alternatives.
Andela doesn't publish prices. One sample profile on its site shows $6,500-$8,500 per month for a Senior Data Analyst. Treat that as an illustration and ask for a written quote, then compare it with a Ryz quote for the same role.
Andela doesn't publish one. Figures you may see online come from competitor-written blogs and aren't confirmed by Andela. Ask Andela to state its minimum term in writing.
Neither publishes hourly rates, and the models differ: Andela quotes engineers, teams and AI builds, while Toptal sells freelancers at a weekly price plus a subscription. See our Andela vs Toptal comparison.
Both quote every engagement. The bigger difference is what you're buying. Our Andela vs Turing page covers it, and explains why Ryz is the better choice for teams that want senior engineers on US hours.
Everything here was checked against each company's own site and public sources in October 2026. Vendors change terms often, so confirm before you sign.
