Softtek was founded in 1982 in Monterrey, Mexico, and says it has 16,000 people and 18 global delivery centers, six of them in Mexico, with others across Latin America, Spain, China and India. It says it registered the Near Shore model in 1997, moved from time-and-materials to SLAs by 2004, and holds CMMI Level 5, TMMi Level 5 and ISO 42001 certifications.
