Web development services: senior React and Next.js teams on US hours
Senior web teams that build fast, accessible web applications and sites in React, Next.js and Angular, and the APIs and infrastructure behind them.
By the Ryz Labs team · Updated October 2026
Ryz Labs provides web development services through senior teams that build web applications, customer portals and content sites in React, Next.js and Angular, along with the APIs and cloud infrastructure they run on. Our engineers are in the top 1% of the tens of thousands we interview, work on US business hours, and treat performance, accessibility and security as requirements from the first sprint.
What we build
Web development covers a wide range, from a content site to a complex application. These are the web deliverables our teams take on most often.
- Web applications: Next.js or React single-page apps with typed APIs, authentication, role-based access, real-time updates over WebSockets and complex forms that validate on both client and server.
- Customer and partner portals: account management, document upload, billing history and support flows, with SSO for enterprise customers.
- Headless CMS sites: marketing and content sites on Contentful, Sanity or Strapi with Next.js, so editors publish without engineers and pages stay fast.
- E-commerce front ends: Shopify and headless commerce storefronts, product search, checkout flows and integrations with inventory and fulfillment systems.
- Design systems: shared component libraries in React and TypeScript, documented in Storybook, with design tokens synced from Figma.
- Front-end modernization: migrating AngularJS, jQuery or server-rendered legacy pages to React or modern Angular, route by route, without freezing feature work.
- Dashboards and data-heavy UIs: virtualized tables, charts and filters that stay responsive with tens of thousands of rows.

How an engagement works
- Talk. We review the product, designs, existing code, traffic patterns and what is slow or fragile today, plus SEO and accessibility requirements.
- Match. We propose a team, usually front-end and full-stack engineers with a designer if needed, with names and a monthly price.
- Join. The team works in your repos and cloud, joins your standups and design reviews on US hours, and deploys through your pipeline or sets one up with preview environments per pull request.
- Grow. Add engineers as the roadmap grows, keep a smaller team for ongoing work after launch, or hand the code to your team.
Week 1 means running the app locally, baselining Core Web Vitals and accessibility with Lighthouse and axe, and reviewing the deployment setup. Month 1 usually ends with a first feature or page template in production. By month 3, the team ships continuously behind feature flags, with performance and accessibility checks in CI. Pace depends on scope, design readiness and your onboarding.
The stack our teams work in
| Layer | Tools we use | Notes |
|---|
| Front end | React, Next.js, Angular, Vue, TypeScript | Server rendering where SEO or first load matters |
| Styling and UI | Tailwind CSS, CSS Modules, MUI, Radix, Storybook | Or your existing design system |
| Back end and APIs | Node.js (NestJS, Express), Python (FastAPI, Django), GraphQL | Typed contracts with OpenAPI or GraphQL schemas |
| Content and commerce | Contentful, Sanity, Strapi, Shopify | Editors publish without a deploy |
| Hosting | Vercel, AWS (CloudFront, Lambda, ECS), Azure, Cloudflare | CDN caching with deliberate invalidation |
| Testing | Vitest, Jest, Testing Library, Playwright, axe-core | Cross-browser end-to-end tests on every pull request |
| Monitoring | Sentry, Datadog RUM, Vercel Analytics, Google Search Console | Real-user performance, not just lab scores |
How we keep web apps fast, accessible and secure
Web projects tend to degrade quietly: a few kilobytes here, an unlabeled button there. A senior team adds guardrails so quality doesn't depend on someone remembering.
- Performance creep. Bundle-size budgets and Lighthouse CI fail the build when a change hurts Largest Contentful Paint, Interaction to Next Paint or layout shift. Real-user metrics show what actual visitors experience on mid-range phones.
- Accessibility gaps. Our engineers build to WCAG 2.2 AA: semantic HTML, keyboard navigation, focus management in modals and visible labels. axe-core runs in CI and screen-reader checks happen before major releases.
- SEO loss during migrations. Replatforming is where traffic disappears. We keep URL maps and 301 redirects, preserve canonical tags and structured data, render indexable content on the server and watch Search Console after cutover.
- Common web vulnerabilities. Output encoding, a Content Security Policy, CSRF protection, secure cookie settings and server-side authorization checks address the OWASP Top 10 risks that show up in web apps.
- Supply-chain risk. npm dependencies are pinned with lockfiles, scanned with Dependabot or Snyk and updated on a schedule instead of in a panic.
- Stale or leaky caches. CDN and framework caching are configured per route, with explicit revalidation, so editors see updates quickly and one user's personalized page is never cached and served to another.
- Browser-specific bugs. Playwright runs end-to-end tests on Chromium, Firefox and WebKit, so Safari issues surface before customers find them.
Team shapes and cost
Typical Ryz cost is $7,000–$15,000 per engineer per month, mostly mid-level to senior: mid-level (comparable to Amazon L5) $7,000–$10,000, senior (comparable to Amazon L6) $10,000–$15,000, and leads $15,000+, quoted per team.
- Front-end pair: 2 senior React or Next.js engineers on your product. 2 × $10,000–$15,000 = $20,000–$30,000 per month.
- Web app team: 2 front-end engineers, 2 full-stack engineers and a QA engineer. 5 × $7,000–$15,000 = $35,000–$75,000 per month, depending on seniority mix.
- Replatforming team: a tech lead plus 4 senior engineers for a legacy front-end migration. 4 × $10,000–$15,000 = $40,000–$60,000, plus the lead at $15,000+, so $55,000+ per month.
You get a scoped plan, a price and the names of the people before you start.
Dedicated team or staff augmentation?
A dedicated development team fits a new web application, a redesign or a replatforming that one team should own, including design implementation and deployment. Staff augmentation fits when your front-end lead and roadmap are set and you need more senior capacity: front-end developers, React developers or Next.js developers who work on your team. Choosing a framework first? Read React vs Angular.
When Ryz isn't the right fit
If you need a simple brochure site, a website builder or a freelancer from a self-serve marketplace is cheaper. If you need engineers on European or Asian hours, a global network fits better. And if what you need is a brand identity, start with a branding agency and bring us the designs.

FAQ
How much do web development services cost with Ryz?
Typical cost is $7,000–$15,000 per engineer per month, mostly mid-level to senior, with leads at $15,000+ quoted per team. Total cost is team size × duration × monthly rate: three senior engineers for 4 months is 3 × 4 × $10,000–$15,000 = $120,000–$180,000.
How fast can a web team start?
After the scoping call we propose a team with named engineers. Most of the timeline depends on scope, design readiness and your onboarding.
Do you design the site too?
We can include senior product designers in the team for UX and interface design. We are not a branding agency, so logos and brand identity should come from your brand team or agency.
Which framework do you recommend?
Usually the one your team already uses. For new builds, Next.js suits content-heavy and SEO-sensitive sites, and React or Angular single-page apps suit logged-in applications. We explain the trade-offs during scoping.
Can you migrate our site without losing search traffic?
Yes, if the migration is planned for it: a complete redirect map, preserved metadata and structured data, server-rendered content and close monitoring in Search Console after launch.
