Ryz Labs/Hire/Full stackHire senior full-stack developers who own features end to end
Senior full-stack engineers from Latin America who take a feature from schema to screen, and work in your repos and standups on US hours.
By the Ryz Labs team · Updated October 2026
When you hire full-stack developers through Ryz Labs, you get senior engineers who can take a feature from the database schema to the final pixel without handing it off halfway. They are vetted, top 1% of the engineers we interview, and they embed in your team, working in your repos and standups. They work within an hour of US time zones.
What our full-stack developers work on
Full-stack engineers are most valuable when a team needs fewer handoffs: a startup building its first product, a product squad that owns a whole area, or an AI feature that touches the model call, the API and the interface all at once. Our full-stack engineers usually work in TypeScript or Python on the server and React, Vue or Angular on the client.
- New products and MVPs on Next.js with a Postgres database, Prisma or Drizzle, and auth through Auth.js, Clerk or Cognito.
- Feature squads that own a slice of a larger product, from API design and migrations to UI and analytics events.
- AI-powered features such as chat, search and document workflows, wiring OpenAI or Anthropic models into a backend and streaming results to the UI.
- Classic web stacks: Rails, Django or Laravel back ends with React, Vue or Hotwire front ends.
- Internal tools and admin apps that connect several systems and need to be built quickly and maintained easily.
- Cloud deployment on AWS, Vercel or Azure, with CI pipelines, preview environments and infrastructure as code.
Skills we vet for
- API design: REST resource modeling, GraphQL schemas, pagination, idempotency keys and versioning.
- Relational data modeling: Postgres schemas, indexes, constraints, transactions, and safe migrations on live data.
- Server-side frameworks: Node.js with NestJS, Express or Fastify; Python with Django or FastAPI; or Rails or Laravel.
- Front-end frameworks: React and Next.js most often, plus Vue or Angular, with solid CSS and accessibility basics.
- Auth and security: sessions versus tokens, OAuth 2.0 and OIDC flows, CSRF, CORS, and role-based access control.
- Caching and background work: Redis, HTTP caching, queues like BullMQ, SQS or Celery, and cron jobs.
- Testing across layers: unit tests, integration tests against a real database, and end-to-end tests in Playwright.
- Operations: Docker, CI/CD, logging, metrics and error tracking, and being on the hook for what they ship.
How we vet full-stack developers
Recruiters source full-stack engineers across Latin America and check that their experience is genuinely on both sides, not a front-end developer who once wrote an endpoint. ARC, our in-house system, ranks the pipeline. Each candidate takes a structured NTRVSTA AI interview covering back-end, front-end and data topics. Recruiters review candidates before and after, and you receive a curated shortlist. AI scores are advisory. People make the decisions.
Sample interview topics
- Design a feature where users invite teammates by email. Cover the data model, the invite token, expiry, the API endpoints, the UI states, and what happens if two invites go to the same address.
- A list page loads slowly. Walk through how you decide whether the problem is the query, the API serialization, the network payload or the front-end rendering, and what tools you use at each layer.
- Explain how you would store sessions for a Next.js app with a separate API. Compare HTTP-only cookies and bearer tokens, and cover CSRF, CORS and token refresh.
- You need to rename a database column used by a live API and two front-end clients. Describe an expand-and-contract migration that avoids downtime.
- Add a streaming AI summary to an existing page. How do you call the model from the server, stream tokens to the browser, handle errors and timeouts, and keep API keys off the client?
Ways to hire full-stack developers
| Option | Best for | Trade-offs |
|---|
| Freelance marketplace | A quick prototype or an isolated feature with a clear end | "Full-stack" claims are hard to verify; you own all vetting; limited continuity |
| Staffing or recruiting agency | Permanent full-stack hires on your payroll | Screens often miss depth on one side of the stack; placement fees; slow senior searches |
| In-house recruiting | Founding engineers and long-term product owners | Slow and expensive; heavy screening load for a role that spans many skills |
| Ryz Labs staff augmentation | Adding senior full-stack engineers to your existing squads | Custom quote, scoped per team; you set priorities and own the product |
| Ryz Labs AI pod team | Building AI features or systems inside your cloud with a dedicated pod | A multi-person team with a tech lead; best for a defined AI initiative |
Ryz is not the right fit if you want a self-serve marketplace for short hourly jobs, or a strategy consultancy to plan a transformation program rather than engineers to build it.
Why hire full-stack developers from Latin America
Many senior engineers in Latin America grew up professionally in startups and agencies where everyone did a bit of everything. That background produces genuine full-stack engineers: people who have designed schemas, deployed services and polished UIs on the same project, often for US clients.
Owning a feature end to end means talking with product, design and other engineers throughout the day. Our engineers work within an hour of US hours and communicate clearly in English, so a full-stack developer in Bogotá or Montevideo can run a feature the same way a teammate in Chicago would.

FAQ
Which stacks do your full-stack developers cover?
The most common are TypeScript with Next.js and Node.js, Python with Django or FastAPI plus React, and Rails or Laravel with a modern front end. Tell us yours and we match to it.
Can one full-stack developer replace a front-end and back-end pair?
For many product features, yes. For deep specialist work, such as a large design system or a high-throughput data pipeline, a specialist is usually the better call. We will tell you which fits.
How much does it cost?
We provide a custom quote, scoped per team. You get a plan, a price and the names of the engineers before you sign.
What is the contract structure, and when do they work?
You sign one contract with Ryz. Our engineers work with us as independent contractors, and we handle paying them. They work within an hour of US time zones.
