Hire senior CRM developers for Salesforce, HubSpot and Dynamics
Senior engineers who write real code on your CRM, connect it to the rest of your systems and clean up the automation that has piled up over the years.
By the Ryz Labs team · Updated October 2026
When you hire CRM developers through Ryz Labs, you get senior engineers who work on Salesforce, HubSpot or Microsoft Dynamics 365 the way they would on any production system: version control, tests, code review and a release process. They are the top 1% of the engineers we interview. They join your business systems or revenue operations team and work on US business hours.
What our CRM developers work on
Most companies call for a CRM developer when configuration stops being enough. Pages get slow, automation fires in an order nobody can explain, the ERP sync drops records, or sales wants a workflow the admin tools cannot express. Our engineers take on the code, data and integration work around the CRM, while your admins keep owning day-to-day configuration. Typical projects:
- Salesforce custom development: Apex triggers and services, Lightning Web Components, and Flows that call Apex when logic gets heavy.
- HubSpot extensions: custom objects, custom coded workflow actions in Node.js or Python, UI extensions built with React in HubSpot developer projects, and private apps that call the HubSpot APIs.
- Dynamics 365 and Power Platform: C# plugins on the Dataverse event pipeline, PCF controls in TypeScript, client scripts with the Xrm API, and Power Automate flows.
- Integrations between the CRM and your ERP, billing system, product database, support desk and marketing tools, through direct APIs or middleware such as MuleSoft, Boomi or Azure Logic Apps.
- Data sync with your warehouse: change data capture out of the CRM, reverse ETL back in, and deduplication rules everyone agrees on.
- CRM migrations: moving from one platform to another, or consolidating several orgs or portals after an acquisition, with data mapping, cutover plans and reconciliation reports.
- AI features in CRM workflows: lead and case summaries, email drafting and routing that call your chosen models through governed APIs.
Skills we vet for
- Platform limits: Salesforce governor limits, HubSpot API rate limits and workflow action timeouts, and Dataverse plugin execution time and API protection limits.
- Order of execution: how triggers, Flows, validation rules, workflows and plugins interact on save, and the recursion and double-update bugs that come from getting it wrong.
- Data modeling: standard versus custom objects, associations and relationships, lookup versus master-detail, and designing for reporting from the start.
- Security model: Salesforce profiles, permission sets and sharing rules; HubSpot teams and permission sets; Dynamics business units, security roles and field security.
- Integration patterns: bulk versus REST APIs, event-driven sync with Platform Events or webhooks, idempotent upserts on external IDs, and retry handling.
- Release management: Salesforce DX and source tracking, HubSpot CLI projects, Dynamics solutions with the Power Platform CLI, and CI pipelines that deploy from Git.
- Testing: Apex tests that assert behavior instead of chasing coverage, Jest for LWC and UI extensions, and plugin unit tests with a mocked organization service.
- Working with business owners: turning a sales ops or support request into a scoped change, and explaining trade-offs to people who do not read code.
How we vet CRM developers
Recruiters source engineers who have shipped code on a CRM platform, not only configured it. ARC, our in-house system, ranks the pipeline. Candidates complete a structured NTRVSTA AI interview built around the platform you use, with questions on data design, limits, integrations and debugging. Recruiters review every candidate before and after the interview and put together a curated shortlist. AI scores are advisory. People make the decisions.
Sample interview topics
- A nightly sync from the ERP creates duplicate accounts in the CRM about once a week. Walk through how you find the cause and redesign the sync around external IDs and upserts.
- In Dynamics 365, a synchronous plugin on account update times out during bulk imports. What would you move to asynchronous processing, and what changes for the user?
- A HubSpot custom coded action calls an internal API and occasionally fails. How do you handle rate limits, timeouts and retries without enrolling the same record twice?
- Sales wants opportunity data from Salesforce in the warehouse within minutes, not overnight. Compare Change Data Capture, the Bulk API and a third-party connector, and pick one.
- You are moving 2 million contacts and their activity history from one CRM to another. Describe the mapping, the dry runs, the cutover window and how you prove nothing was lost.
Ways to hire CRM developers
| Option | Best for | Trade-offs |
|---|
| Freelance marketplace | A single custom action, component or report | Quality varies widely; knowledge of your org leaves with the freelancer |
| Staffing or recruiting agency | A permanent CRM developer hire | Certifications get screened more than coding skill; admins and developers get mixed together |
| CRM consulting partner | A full implementation or redesign led by functional consultants | Program-shaped; less suited to ongoing development alongside your team |
| Ryz Labs staff augmentation | Adding senior CRM developers to your business systems or RevOps team | $7,000 to $15,000 per engineer per month, scoped per team; your team keeps ownership of priorities and the platform |
| Ryz Labs dedicated team | A migration, portal or integration program with developers, QA and a tech lead | Needs scoping up front; suited to work that runs for months |
Ryz is not the right fit if you want a consulting firm to own CRM strategy, process design and change management. A platform consulting partner is a better match for that, and our engineers can work alongside one.
Salesforce, HubSpot or Dynamics: matching the developer to the platform
The three platforms reward different backgrounds. Salesforce development is its own discipline, with Apex, LWC and a strict limits model, so we look for people with years on the platform. If Salesforce is all you run, our Salesforce developers page goes deeper, and our Salesforce development teams take on larger builds. HubSpot extension work is mostly JavaScript, TypeScript and React plus the HubSpot APIs, so strong web engineers ramp quickly. Dynamics 365 sits on Dataverse and the .NET ecosystem, so C# depth and Power Platform experience matter most.
Tell us which platform you run, what connects to it and who owns configuration today. We shortlist for that combination, not for a generic "CRM" label. Our engineers work your hours, so they can join requirement calls with sales ops and support leaders and deploy before the end of the day.

FAQ
Do you provide CRM admins as well as developers?
This page covers developers who write code and build integrations. Many are also strong with declarative tools. If you mainly need configuration, user management and reports, say so during scoping and we will match that profile instead.
Can one developer cover more than one CRM?
Sometimes. Engineers who know HubSpot often know its integrations with Salesforce, and Dynamics developers often cover the wider Power Platform. For deep work on a single platform, we recommend a specialist.
How much does it cost to hire a CRM developer?
Typical cost is $7,000 to $15,000 per engineer per month: $7,000 to $10,000 for mid-level and $10,000 to $15,000 for senior. Quotes are scoped per team, and you get a plan, a price and the names of the people before you start.
What hours do they keep?
They work US business hours, including New York hours. Our engineers work remotely across the Americas and join your standups, sprint reviews and release windows.
Can they help us migrate from one CRM to another?
Yes. A migration usually needs a developer who knows both platforms' data models, plus a data engineer for mapping and reconciliation. For larger migrations we often suggest a dedicated team with its own lead.
