AI Driver Support Agent
Fuel PINs, shop locations, policy questions — resolved instantly, in three languages, at any hour.
01
The challenge
A 24/7 call center serving a multilingual driver base. Three call reasons alone — fuel PIN retrieval, mechanic search and vehicle policy questions — drive around 218,000 calls a year and roughly $1.9M in call-center operating cost. Drivers wait on hold. Agents burn through their day on the same repetitive requests.

What we built
- A natural-voice agent named “Alex” that answers calls end to end for the three highest-volume driver requests — authenticates the driver, finds a shop, interprets the policy, or issues a fuel PIN — and hands off cleanly to a human when a call needs one.
- One agent across English, Latin American Spanish and Canadian French. No separate build per market or per language.
- Sounds like a person, not a menu tree. Handles interruptions, corrections and back-and-forth like a call-center agent would.
- SMS mirror for drivers who prefer text, on the same authenticated flows as voice.
- Built on modular architecture where voice, reasoning and tools stay separated — the underlying AI can be upgraded without touching the call flow, so the client is never locked into a single vendor.

Impact & results
~95% Per-Call Cost Reduction
About $4 per call-hour on the AI agent versus about $87 on the human queue, on ~218,000 covered calls a year. Scales to zero between calls, so idle infrastructure costs nothing.
One Agent, Three Languages
Callers get instant answers in-language, day or night. No hold times, no menus, no separate build per market — and a clean transfer to a human whenever the call really needs one.
